This is another dress I did a while back. A loose charmeuse gown that just cling to the body, while looking simple on the front, but has a deep key-hole at the back with gathering at neck. As a wedding dress design, it seems to be slightly risqué ;)
I made the pattern by myself. I remember sewing the charmeuse with such a curve seam around the front hip was pretty time consuming. It turned out as flat as I wanted it to be, although it doesn’t really show my effort in the picture, unless it’s under a bright light hehe.
Although I’m not selling any samples of my bridal collection, if you’re interested in recreating any of my creation, please feel free to contact me.

the seams on the hips are DIVINE! It’s just a wonderful creation all over! And I think it would be just perfect for a beach or destination wedding: classy, but not stifling…

I won’t say that it’s a nun’s outfit, but compared with some other creations on this site it’s definitely not that risque! :-) It is gorgeous and I love almost everything about it – the back and the gathers at the top of the keyhole, the curved hip seams, the beautiful fabric! You’ve done an excellent work!!!!

Thank you :) It just takes some patience to do the basting and ironing.

This is amazing …. the curved seam at the front is brilliant! I’d love to see this in a shorter version with a swishy a-line like skirt (does that make sense?) If only I had your skills!

Thanks for your comment and the add.
Also it does make sense :)
I think it would look lovely as a shorter dress, perfect for bridal shower or a bachelorette party :)

It is gorgeous! The curved seam adds interest, and the deep back is beautiful. Because the gown covers everything else, the exposed back isn’t too much.

thanks :) yea, since it had an exposed back, i like to keep everything else covered to balance it out.

that is beautiful!!! i love the curved seam in front. and it is a bit risqué, but in a good way. if a bride wore that walking down the aisle, the keyhole would be an unsuspected surprise, especially if covered with a sheer veil. you should get your designs out there for brides to enjoy!!

Thank you so much for your encouragement :) I love it when the front is simple, but when the bride turns around, you get surprised by the back.
