I love Halloween and I was eager to make something out of the orange, pumpkin print fabric I had purchased from a second-life art shop way back in March. I was going through some of the patterns on BurdaStyle and liked the floofy tiered look of the skirt on the “Mini Dress with Shirred Bodice”, so I created my own two-piece dress design with a tiered skirt in mind.
The bodice is a bit frumpy on the sides because it’s rectangular in shape. I love how the circle skirt turned out though (tutorial credited below). All in all, it was a fun outfit to make and I cannot wait to wear it in October! :)
