For some reason I actually had quite a bit of trouble with both of my green tops for the PR Wardrobe Contest . On this one, my biggest issue was caused by the fabric I chose. It’s a finely ribbed knit- very nice, actually. But, the ribs made it very difficult to sew in the waistband, and it got all stretched out and ripply. I actually ripped the whole thing out and re-tried with the same results. I have no idea how to fix this problem. If anyone has some advice, I am more than happy to hear it :)
Anyway, vote for the contest if you are a member of PR. It is really awesome to see everybody’s wardrobe choices- hours of entertainment. So, if you have hours, you should definitely check it out even if you can’t vote! CLICK HERE for the contest photo gallery
Finely ribbed “couture” knit from Fabric Mart. They had a whole range of colors not too long ago, so check it out. It’s really gorgeous- very soft, almost slippery, even though it’s polyester.
