Legend has it that ancient cave drawings revealed Mickey Mouse to have been some sort of reincarnation of a prehistoric cave mouse. Last seen riding a dinosaur.
This is an old sheet I had as a kid, and having gotten rid of the single bed figured it was time for the fabric to do some of its own reincarnating – so it is now a dress!
Again I have used New Look 6457, View A. I altered the pattern a little by ignoring the stripey bits and just cutting the skirt shorter using one of the guide lines. I also added lining. It is a brilliant pattern for anyone looking to make a bunch of new dresses on a budget. With five almost completely different styles to choose from, you’re spoiled for choice.
