Description
Just like everyone else in the sewing community, my heart skipped a beat when I saw this wrapped blouse pattern. I had some blue cupro satin in my stash. Normally I would go for fabric with a bit more body, but I decided to test the pattern with this fabric. I broadened the shoulders a bit, since that’s the part that’s always a bit too narrow for me with Burda patterns. I also lengthened the hem with 5 cm. I’m tall (1.80 m), so perhaps that’s not necessary when you have a ‘normal’ length ;-)

Thanks! The fabric was kind of an issue, because it’s so slippery that I had to hem the shirt 3 times before I got it right. But it turned out OK fortunately.

Thank you! It really is a comfy blouse, and I love the fact that it’s still ‘dressy’ enough to wear to work. I can highly recommend making this blouse!
