Crystal Spring, ...
Grey/ ivory striped short pants.(well shorts, but they would have been pants if I’d had enough fabric) McCalls 6619 vintage 1979.
This was my first time sewing with striped fabric (believe it or not). I was overjoyed when my stripes lined up. I’ve been wanting to make striped pants for about a year or so now. I think I’m finally brave enough to plan on using the really nice pinstripe that I’m hoarding. I whipped up the neck bow thing from some off-white scraps I had laying around.
I ventured outdoors for some photo opportunities, my camera fogged up when I first went outside – it’s finally feeling like August. I felt like my outfit has a 20’s vibe and like I should be riding a bike, so I found the vintage-y bike because it’d be more fun for photos.
it was in the stash. It went through the washer + dryer beautifully.
