Description

My daughter loves Mary Poppins and asked me to recreate the “Jolly Holiday” dress from the movie. What you see is a combination of patterns combined with details I added, trying to recreate an authentic Mary Poppins look. She was delighted with the results.

Material Notes

white costume satin, white lace (dress overlay), white cotton (spats and hat), white tulle (hat), red satin, white ribbon (you don’t see it, but it laces the back), buttons (spats), red ribbon, velcro, zipper, and hook and eye

From what we can see, this looks like theatrical costume quality. Great job!
