One more project for hot summerdays, that reminds me on vacations in Italy. I used a Burdastyle Magazin pattern and a cotton in the color mauve with little white and yellow blossoms. To make it fluffily for hot summerdays I worked the skirt of the dress with just one layer instead of two. As second alteration I added pockets that are hidden in the sideseams. I choose the pattern because I was interested how the open back would look on me, but a bit worried too. Most of the time I wear the dress with a lightweight lacecardigan, now. But I feel comfortable and maybe I will use this pattern one more time.
