Out of all of the shirts my husband has, this used to be my favorite. The shade of blue, the lightness of the fabric and the great fit made it just perfect. Plus, that’s the shirt he wore to our civil wedding, so there was also some sentimental value in it. With time, however, the shirt got some pretty awful deodorant stains. So much so that my husband was throwing it away. But I couldn’t let it happen: I cut the shirt up and noticed I would be able to rescue its fabric!! I self-drafted a pattern so that I could have a cute little top with NO stains! And here it is! I am so happy with it and I’ve been wearing it often. From all the shirts I have, this might be my current favorite. (I included a “before” picture in the end)
