It’s a found vintage silk crêpe bedsheet and some ivory silk organza adorned with lovely vintage mother of pearl teardrop buttons.

This is the best rendition of the pattern I have seen. Great job. I have had projects that sit for years as well. In fact I have one that has not left undone for over 15 years. Great job, and you are right it is gorgeous!
