I made this as a last minute addition to my suitcase on a recent trip to Lake Burton, GA
I used a vintage pattern (I can’t remember the number) and red cotton with white polka dots from the quilting section at Joann’s
red cotton with white polka dots
white buttons
elastic!

very cute! If you remember (or find) the pattern number would you mind sharing it? How did the cotton hold up for swimming? Did you line it at all?

I just moved and the pattern is in a box that I haven’t unpacked yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as I unpack it.
The top has a thin poly swim bra that just holds the shape and the top and the bottom are self-lined.
The cotton stretched out a little when it got wet, so I’m going to move the straps before the next time I wear it but it held up fine.
Thanks for all the comments!
