From a Vogue pattern. I made this coat for my Mum for a mothers day/ birthday present. She is going to look sooooo cute in it! I like it so much I might make one for myself one day.
The pattern is relatively easy to follow, but I did have assistance from my sewing tutor. The collars are the worse bit – you need to steam the hem twice over before sewing and they have all these twists and turns! PAIN!
The jacket is modelled by my lovely friend Libby.
Cotton and Bamboo mix. A bit crunchy to sew and hard to get pins into!
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
