The cropped top was created for my school’s annual fashion show, to be contrasted with a shiny grey dress (to be posted soon). It is made from a fantastic crinkle chiffon and just really reminded me of urban artwork. I fell in love with the colors and bought more yards than required, so I can’t wait to make more things out of this great print! The top does have a slightly longer back than front. All the princess seams are french-seamed and all the hems are clean-finished (rolled under twice and stitched down). It was too light of material to serge.

get some Sulky Solvy, its great for serging very light fabrics. You just put it under the fabric and then tear it offf. I use it all the time. Although your hem is lovely though. Just more time consuming.
