When I got a new Ipod nano for Christmas (greatest gift by the way) I started looking for a nice cover for it, that would also prevent the headphones from getting tangled in with everything in my bag, but I couldn’t find what I wanted. Then I realized I could just make my own! In the Etsy shop of Burdastyle member Rensz (of ‘Minimalist tote bag’ fame, see another of my projects) I found a pen case that I thought I could convert to fit my needs. So I started by making a paper template and then used a scrap of leather I had lying around to make the real version. A snap I found in a box of old notions that came with my (second hand) sewing machine became the closure and I couldn’t be happier with it!
The headphones wrap around the narrow part of the flap and when the snap is closed, everything is tied up in a nice small package. The color is most accurate in the pictures of the opened cover.
