I´ve just came back from Ecuador, enjoying a pleaseant time. My cousin got married and I had the perfect occassion for making a guest wedding dress for the first time. Weddings at 9h00 required long and elaborated dresses, the perfect excuse to make this gorgeous dress inspired on Marchesa resort dress worn by Rihanna.
the upper was very elaborated considering the drapping on both sides should be equal.
I changed the hoorn shaped on the bustier for this more sofisticated and femenine heart shaped. Bustier is completely boned.
The skirt was made in embroidered lace mesh gathered full circle overlaid on satin.
There is also a huge petticoat beneath wich gave me the perfect puffy effect… not too much.
Lace skirt was trimmed with iron to keep the round shape
Rayon ribbon on the low waist with a red stones brooche..
The wedding theme was India
8 yds embroidered lace,
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
