I made this shirt about four years ago and since i’m finally uploading things on here i might as well upload this too. I got a $3.00 shirt from walmart. White and red spraypaint, and idividual letter stencils to make this. On the front I placed the initials of the club. Invisible Children United is a club at my [then] high school and is basically a movement that seeks to end the tragedies that are and have been going on in Northern Uganda. On the front i simply spray painted the initials and on the back i created a stencil of Africa and then spray painted a heart where Uganda is. It was a pretty interesting project and I was messing around with paints and fabric. The white is as obvious in real life but I adjusted the contrast so the outline of Africa can be seen. I could never get the same outcome with fabric sprays that I got from Actual spray paint so i just sticked to using spray paint. Looking back making the Africa stencil was really time consuming but other than that it was pretty easy. Feel free to check out invisiblechildren.com
