This is a suit that I made for an interview with the job that I have now. I got the pattern from Burda Fashion magazine. It was the first time I used the intimidating patterns from the magazine, but the fit was incredible and the instructions were easy to follow once I got started. I apolologize for the bad, cluttered pictures on some of my posts, I am in the process of converting my son’s bedroom into a sewing room, so I will have a nicer area to take pictures. Yay! My own sewing room finally, my youngest has flown the coop. (At 20, it is not so surprising)
Polyester/ wool blend I believe. Vintage buttons. Lined with regular lining fabric, probably polyester.

Hi All, I was finally able to add the sleeve picture, which is a highlight of the jacket I believe.

Thank you very much. The pattern is in October 2005, number 101. I go back through the magazines to find something to make, so it’s a good thing that they are years ahead of us in regards to style. :)
