I love tunics and saw someone in Melbourne city wearing something similar to this and thought “I can make my own!”
I used my playsuit as a template for the yokes and straps and it turned out to be a cross between that playsuit and another tunic I have.
It’s super easy to make and I would recommend light fabrics to give that airy, billow look
Cotton, lining, 2 buttons, thread

I love the hemlines—it looks quite sheet-y and fun!

Yeah, it feels fun to wear it too! You can’t tell in the pictures, but it has some fraying in the hems too.

Thanks! I often cross patterns and then don’t use one for making something, then when I ask advice from my mum about how to do something she says “I don’t know, what does the pattern say?”

That’s exactly what my Mum would say!

AH! That’s freaky! Perhaps we’re a bit too new-age for our mums and it’s old world to stick to patterns lol
