I’ve been cutting out pictures in magazines/catalogues, but was just putting them in a folder (ready to be forgotten). I’d seen some pretty boards with ribbons and things but they were always too small and way too expensive. So, I woke up yesterday and decided to do my own!
thin MDF board (mine is 1.80m by 0.60m), wadding, white cotton, ribbons, staple gun and fixings for the wall
me and my neighbours for putting up with the drilling :)

What a great idea!! I’m going to make my own as well! I guess you can put there pieces of fabric too and feel like a real designer :-)

yes, you can easily pin fabric swatches directly onto the board

I love these boards. They are so functional and not to mention beautiful. I made one similar last year and it’s great but I’m just finding it’s too small. I like how you made yours so i think i’ll have a go doing it your way! Great job – it looks really good!
