This started out as an experiment with loop scarves and ended in the thickest, most beautiful chunky scarf I have made in a week-on a loom that is. It was doubleknit so both sides have that v pattern, and so thick the wind will not get through, I love it! I didn’t mean to make it in Hogwarts colors, but I just happened to have 3 skeins in those colors and just went nuts!

haha, I’ve just finished the exact same loop scarf!! how wierd, I haven’t heard of it before! :) I did not use a loom, just good old fashion knitting. Nice though!

At first I had no idea how to get it together at the ends, but after a few tries I ended up knitting it together and binding off, and its just a normal loop-soon i hope to make a twisted one to add some zing but we’ll see about that…

Did you knit it together or sew it together? Also I would like to know, is it a normal loop or is it a twisted loop? I’d love to make one of those.
