I saw the infinity dress several times on burdastyle and since I’m going to dance Salsa very soon, I thought this would be the perfect dress.
Actually I wanted to make the whole dress with the red jersey I used in the straps, but unfortunately I hadn’t enough, so I decided to alter the skirt part and used sheer cotton for the circle skirt and a black XXL shirt going under it (I cut the sleeves and used an elastic to gather both skirt parts)
I’m thinking about putting an organza skirt under it for better structure? not sure yet
It was late and some stupid mistakes happened but nothing too dramatic
The rolled hem was made with my new serger<<<< pride ^^
many thanks to rostitchery for this beautiful How To
and I found some ways to wrap it (with video instructions, very helpful ^^) http://www.shopbutterbynadia.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14&products_id=50
black XXL shirt, some sheer cotton and red shining jersey

Thanks =)
No it is one piece. Basically a skirt with two straps attached, which create the different shapes of the bodice. if you follow the link you’ll see how it works.
