I was recently asked to use up some odd shaped, odd sized, remnant scraps; to design a fashion piece. I was stunned at first as this is the first time I had to deal with scraps such as these. I then began to drap these on my mannequin to see how much I could cover.
I am a big fan of convertible clothes, and since there was not enough to make a dress, I made a blouse with unlimited ways of wearing it….from casual to cocktail…cape to skirt and even jumpsuit! It can be worn back or front, upside down, on sideways, twisted, depending on your mood (but not inside out, I am trying to work arount that too). Best of all, it’s one size fit all…..I am really happy with the way it turned out.
I hope to make more :D
