Please excuse my ANTM posing. My dress was self-drafted using the “pinch, pin, & sew method.” (Not recommended—very tedious). This type of batik fabric is traditionally used in Indonesia as a sarong (a narrow, tightly wrapped skirt), however my dress in no way resembles a traditional Indonesian garment.
