I made these shorts to take away with me on holiday to Tenerife. I’ve not really had much chance to wear them as the sun is rarely out! Autumn has defiantly come early for us in the UK this year! It feels like end of September early October already! The days are getting shorter and shorter!! Soo here are my lovely and simple flowery summery shorts! The pattern is a free pattern from Thunder Lily and are called “Camp Culottes”.
The pattern was a joy to sew! It was nice and simple and the results were instantaneous! I placed elastic around the waistband of my pair and also had to adjust the waist due to my small waist big bum combination! I love the way the fabric falls too! I’m not quite sure what the fabric is but it’s really soft and light and hangs nicely! I would wear them everyday because they are soo comfy :) I would recommend anybody giving them a try!

These shorts really have a vintage look to them. Well done! Oh and your blog link above does not work. Happy sewing!
