This is so far the most complicated pattern I’ve attempted. Took me a good two days longer than I wanted to take making it but boy am I pleased with the results! The waistband was really tricky and the zip was acomplete nightmare as I’ve never put a zip in before. However I loved doing the side ruffles and front pocket. Very pleased with the results!
Slightly stretchy pinstripe denim which was £1 a metre!, striped white buttons 5p each.
Burda Style of course!

Wow – this is gorgeous – I love it!
I also notice that you live in Birmingham and I hope you don’t mind me asking but where do you shop for fabrics? I have recently started sewing and am struggling to find decent fabric shops anywhere. Thanks for any suggestions
