Description
This is the first thing I have made in about 5 years! I promised my sister I would make her an Indian style suit,so here it is!
I wanted to incorporate a bit of western style into the outfit so made the pants slim fit and I also fitted the bodice.
I made split style sleeves and used frog fastenings to add detail.
To embellish the suit, I added beading to the pattern on the scarf and dress and I beaded around the neckline.
I used another pair of pants for the pattern for the salwar (pants) and I made the kameez(dress) freehand.
Material Notes
I bought salwar kameez fabric, this is Indian style material with a matching scarf already to sew, however I added white cotton to the neckline of my suit and also made the pants wth this fabric to add abit more colour to the suit.
