Description

I bought this saari with two colors (from Jackson heights, NY). I had to use all the fabric in such a way that one color was not more visible than the other. Its got body colored lining in cotton stitched in the basic blouse pattern on which the gathers were afixed, little loops for the bra straps with snap fasteners on the shoulder, frills for sleeves. this was the first gathered blouse that i made so 2 days and countless fittings later this is how it finally looks. thanks but not to worry.. following on anajans idea, it could be adapted as the bodice of dress or a bikini top piece

Gorgeous! It’s very inspiring too – it would be a beautiful bodice of a dress.
