I made this dress on my dressmaking doll and shaped the bodice with some honey comb tucking. I also experimented with the fall of the dress by adding some tucking close to the hem. This dress is unfortunately one which I rarely wear, along with some of my other creations. For this reason I have decided to take part in Me-Made-March-2011 which is being hosted by the very talented Zoe ‘So, Zo… What do you know?’.. So I will be scouring through my draws and pulling out other rarely worn creations. I am now looking forward to the March!

thanks! The photos are taken in the lodge, which is an early 19th century mansion smack bang in the middle of my Gran’s retirement village….we just knew that we had to take some photos there.

Oh my gosh! If I had this dress I would be tempted to wear it every day….the honey comb tucking on the bodice is such a unique detail and I love the maxi length.
