If you look back at my old pics, you can see the corner to the right was a bit plain and in my opinion, BORING. And because my bedroom door is right next to it, the corner would pick up and bounce sounds into my room at night, so I thought putting curtains there would dampen noise and purdy it up abit.
So off I totted to the land of home improvement, Ikea and got some cheap heavy weight fabric. I think it was 8.99 per metre. anyway…
I made some box pleats at the top for a good drape, but before sewing them in permantley I sewed in some button holes for the hooks to hang onto. You can see them a wee bit though, but they match.
And I also painted my wicker laundry basket orange, cause the best match for grey is always orange. In my boyfriends opinion.
Ikea, INGER fabric – availible all over the world! Yay!

Great idea for revamping your house without needing to fork out a fortune! I lust IKEA fabrics too!!! They’re so stylish yet inexpensive :) I like the colour combination of the grey and the rattan basket you placed in the corner.
