Description

There are many people at the moment getting around old Sydney side with these large and practical canvas bags from a little shop called country road. Although I appreciate their simple design… everyone has one!!!

So I decided to make my own in a fabric country road cant copy.

I used a dinner plate to plan the two end circles and then I cut 2 rectangles to fit the circumference of the circles. Added some handles and a zipper and voila!

Material Notes

The fabric itself is from Ikea. It’s a nice and strong fabric is which good to hold gym gear or for staying overnight. also a zipper and thread

love this bag! i made a bag with ikea fabric before – it’s fun because it’s big prints usually, makes unique pattern when you sew, like yours, i love the color, too.

Simple design but really nice! And the name is very original, named after Ikea, i think? :)
