The second skirt. Wasn’t really my plan to buy the fabric, but I like it a lot. And half circle skirts are just so easy to make. I love them.
Ikea Gunilla cyan. Woven cotton. Would recommend using an under skirt while using it.

There’s this tutorial on it: http://www.needlepointers.com/displaypage.aspx?ArticleID=32768&URL=http%3a%2f%2fmariskavos.nl%2fblog%2findex.php%3fop%3dViewArticle%26articleId%3d4%26blogId%3d1
I didn’t use that, but it’s a very similar technique. My version don’t have a lining however. I just tucked in the top, pressed it and top stitched. And since you cut the fabric on the bias, be sure to just let it hang on a coat hanger for at least 48 hour before you hem it. You don’t need so much fabric either (I used max 0.75 m). :)

Love the skirt and the fabric. I bought that same fabric last week and was wondering what to make with it. Is it easy to make the skirt?
