I’ve been wanting to try the Anda pattern for a few months so when I got this ikat print it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
I added pockets and lining, and enclosed 1 inch elastic between the self and the lining. I graded the pattern down quite a bit, since there was so much ease.
Cotton self and lining, 1 inch elastic.

Thanks, I think that was it. I made another Anda, also in ikat, where I created a high/low hem and attached sections of elastic at front and back, and reduced the width even further.

Nice! It’s true — there really was a lot of ease in the pattern.
