The pattern is great, since it can be worn on different body types. The fabric looks very fresh and young, but the model is way too skinny ( I am sorry if I am offending BurdaStyle or the model).

I want to make this SO bad. :D

I love this pattern. However, I am with elainemay. It hurts me to look at this girl. Countries in Europe have banned models with an unhealthy BMI (until they gain weight). I think we should do the same and encourage young girls to have a healthy ideal of beauty. She is a beautiful girl. I just can’t agree with the decision.

I love the design, though the model is super thin. I have no idea if she has an eating disorder, but it troubles me. Why? because I’m not super thin and therefore have no idea how this top would drape on a woman with curves (or rather bulges). Same goes for the wide leg pants “Janine”. Same model I think. With thighs like hers aren’t all pants “wide legged”?

Hey Amywan, that hood idea is a great one. Once you made it, can you show us how you did it? Nora wants to add a hood to one of our upcoming patterns and could use some inspiration!!

I agree with Mirela, this girl looks thin but not anorexic. Actually I had pretty much the same figure when I was younger, nothing wrong with it. And no, I wasn’t anorexic either, a good metabolism runs in my family.

:) the girl is pretty and does not look unhealty to me at all. Some are just built like that and are not necessarily anorexic. My sister in law had a child a year ago and she looks now pretty much as thin as the model, she is just fit and has a good metabolism. She has always been like that and you should see how much she eats. She has tons of energy and runs around all day long. The model is thin but not too thin.
Look in the third picture at her collar bones, they are not poking out, she is quite normal, may be thinner then average, but it does not mean she is unhealthy.
I agree that there are models and stars just too thin…this one looks healthy to me.

love the top. agree with comments about the model, that’s really scary.

I love the top, but agree with Elainemay. I understand clothes look great on thin models, but I DO think there’s a line between svelte and scrawny. This girl DEFINITELY looks scrawny.

very very nice… très beau travail, et un choix de tissus vraiment sympa.

beautiful! I like it too. The only thing that could make it perfekt is a hood!

I’m troubled by how unhealthily thin this model is, especially in the second picture. She looks like she’s wearing kids’ shorts and they’re barely staying up on her hips. I apologize if this is not the appropriate forum for this feedback, but I’m a big fan of Burda Style and its mission and I would like to encourage them to use models within a healthy weight range.
