When I saw this pattern, I decided I would only make it if I had a similar enough fabric. And I found the exact same fabric recently at one of my local store (on sale!). So I made the (almost) exact copy of this Burda pattern. I am delighted.
The fabric is a bit difficult, I used my walking foot for everything but the buttonholes (which were a pain). The pocket is too much on the left, but one can’t see it.
mystery fabric (polyester and ? possibly some wool)
pleather for the elbow patches
3 buttons in navy
some petersham ribbon
