I have had this fabric for a loooong time. It was originally a pillowslip from the seventies (its a horribly plastic nylon) but the print is so cool. I had intended to make a handbag out of a bit of it, so I started embellishing it, you can see in the second picture. The piece I have embellished has turned out a bit small for a handbag, and a funny shape. Not really sure what to do with it now, and I would love some suggestions from the creative minds out there! The beaded piece is approx 9 inches square, and the bigger plain piece is 17 × 18 inches.
Suggestions to help with the bag idea, or totally left of field stuff either – I promise to post up whatever the finished project is.
Thanks in advance Burdastylers!

Why don’t you use the already embellished part in combination with another fabric to make a bigger purse?

Make-up bag or lunch bag cutlery roll are the things that come to mind if I think of anything else I’ll post again.
