Wow, this project didn’t work for me at all. I guess when you say “measure your waist” you really mean your hips, or…? Even factoring in an extra inch or two, there was no way that sucker was going to get over my hips once it was all put together.

Would it look okay if the band (piece “A”) was a different colour to the rest of the skirt (piece “B”)? And would the skirt look okay if it were worn at your hips instead of your waist? But maybe a bit less puffy? Thanks
