Description

I got the idea for this dress from Emma’s wedding dress on Glee. I totally loved the front and I’ve always liked low back dresses. So when I found this fabric (Marimekko’s HEINÄ) on flea market, I knew exactly what to do with it. Emma looked so darn cute in her wedding dress! I love my version of it already!

I was thinking about adding a white belt with a bow or something but I am not sure yet so if you have ideas, please comment :)

yes mostly I did. The top part I created myself but for the hem I used a ready pattern since I was going after nothing fancy.

I think the belt is not necessary because the dress is really fitted, but if you choose to add one it should be a fabric belt and maybe in blue.

ah to be in a place where marimekko ends up at the flea market!!! I love this the dress really matches the simple modernist lines of the fabric …and it looks great on you :)

Ugh, that fabric is so gorgeous.

The belt you are wearing in these pictures seems to look pretty good with it :)

Yes, I think a white bow or maybe a fabric belt that could also hide the metallic look would suit this dress very well. It is lovely !!! :)
