This is the third and last layered flounce dress I can make! The pattern is quite a distinct one and I don’t think I can have 4 dresses the same style, but at least I’ve got good use out of the pattern and they are all quite different and fun for summer. This is such a quick great dress to make, I think I made this one in 2 hours, the flounces don’t even need hemming because the knit fabric doesn’t fray. This time I decided to go two tone with cerise pink and grey, I had bought the cerise lace a while ago and had it in my stash and thought it made the dress a bit more interesting. Pattern: Butterick 5313
Grey and cerise pink knit

I totally agree with kaitui kiwi – the two-tone pink and grey dress is the best! Very fun and brings summer to mind on this cold and yet rainy (hey, we are in Michigan here! :-)) Christmas day! :-)

I like all the versions too but the two tone pink/grey is my favourite, very cute on you, makes me want to make one and TWIRL :) Oh, just saw the lace detail, beautiful, great job :)
