Burda Style For people who sew
Description
.. but when I saw this fabric I just had to have it! It’s the first pink garment in my wardrobe :)
I used the waistband of the Cynthia Rowley skirt (Simplicity 2512) but the skirt part is just a rectangle of fabric gathered at the top. The satin band on the bottom makes it even sweeter.
I made a separate tie from the same fabric, I didn’t want to attach it to the skirt, so now I can wear it with a belt or ribbon in another colour as well (in the pictures you can see I used a black ribbon).
Paired with my jersey flower dress and a vest, it’s great for day wear. The black ribbon and t-shirt make it more of a party outfit :)
