Munich, Germany

Yes, I do :)
And that’s why I made this fifties style dress for my friend, using a burda magazine pattern (issue 11/2007). I have used this pattern before (Helena’s dress if you’re interested) and as last time I shortened the skirt a little, because the original lenght isn’t very flattering I think.

Material Notes

white denim weave, two green cottons (one with polka dots)

Garment Type
Classic, Evening Wear, Vintage

I really like the colour combo making it looking lake a shirt with a skirt! Gorgeous dress, I have to check out that pattern!

Lovely dress! The bodice is so flattering. This would look REALLY 50’s with a nice big petticoat too!

I’ll tell her that, maybe she’ll try it :)
But I’m not too sure if a petticoat would even fit underneath, the skirt isn’t really wide.
