Which is possibly the reason my fabric stash is bursting at the seams!
I had cut this out a while ago from a basic A line pattern – I cut down the front to make panels and flared the sides a bit. I’ve lined it and made the lining like a petticoat so it sticks out just a little bit. It’ll be good when it gets cold enough to wear it – it still feels like summer at the moment!
This is made from left over wool flannel from a skirt I made a couple of years ago, left over cotton floral from a skirt I've cut out but haven't sewn together, a bit of silk that I've had for ages but it was too small to make anything out of (but it was silk and I couldn't throw it away!) lace and lining.
