I just love this pants pattern from Burda! This is my second take on it and I’ve gotten so many compliments for it. People just can’t believe I made it myself and they keep saying that it looks store bought…. I guess that’s the greatest compliment a home seamstress can get!
Anyway, back to my pants… I added a little bit of my own touch this time. I lengthened the pattern by 10 cm and I sewed a small 1mm seam down the frontleg… I always find that this gives the pants a more exclusive look…
I enjoyed making this pattern, it’s so easy and quick to sew and I plan on making many more of this… maybe a floral print (that’s so in right now) and a stretch denim version.
Oh, and my blouse is also a “made by me” and can be seen here: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/cute-flower-motif-blouse-burda
