Description
I have just finished this bouclè jacket. I did not have enough material, and I wanted to do the front-and-neckline on the bies so…..I could not make any facings, and took me for ever because of the lack of material, and having to match the squares. Also, I had to sew all the lining by hand, and on top of that, I decided to do some contrasting color easy hand stitching to make it look nicer. I made the buttons by hand and I use a brown thread that I took from the cloth to make sure it was going to match perfectly. The lining is pure silk. I can tell you that even do this jacket looks so simple…..I use so many-many hours to make, but I am happy with the result.
Material Notes
Outer jacket in bouclè+brown trim, and lining in pure silk charmeuse.

Very classy. The jacket turned out beautifully. It was worth all of the hard work placed into the garment.

Thank you!!! actually, to me the worst part was the cutting, because of the lack of material, but I love to sit down and do hand work……so….it was a nice thing to do, I would not call it perfect because I can see a few flaws, but it fits beautifully.
