I made this beach bag for my friend’s birthday. I used 100% cotton fabric from Ikea (I love the colors, it has a nice summer feel), black straps, 4 pressure “buttons” (I don’t know how they are called in English). I also put some black polyester cord to tighten the bag and I finished it with knoted color thread. The pressure buttons are located in a way that allows to close the bag in 2 different ways (folded and smaller on top or straight and bigger on top).
The bottom of the bag has a plastic sheed wraped in fabric, that way it mantains the shape of the bag better without making it too stiff. This part can also be removed, making it easier to fold the bag.
