This was an UBER-challenge for me!
I really wanted an open backed top but couldn’t find a pattern for it anywhere….. so I once again decided to ‘Wing it’ and I am shocked with how well it turned out!
I am so so happy with my new top.
I used raw silk for the main garment and trimmed it in red because it looked very bridal when it was all cream. I made the heart pocket to break it up a bit and make it more fun to wear.
I love the huge buttons and it fits like a glove! I am almost 7 months pregnant so I decided to make the bottom of the top a full circle…. this way I can wear it now and post-baby!
