This is a sweater that I made, based on a ready-to-wear garment that I saw. I don’t have very much experience sewing knits but I was so inspired that I figured I would give it a try! I love that it’s a current style that really flatters my body type. More construction details here
I used a self-drafted pattern but it would be easy enough to adjust a pattern like this one to make your own. I used a lovely double face wool knit, which is great because it has a good amount of stretch but also has some body.
Super-nice 100% wool double face. It was pretty pricey but it feels soooooo gooooood. I used a metal open-end zipper and vinyl leather-look trim.
