a simple dress in green cotton. here i mixed two different patterns together, one for the upper part from a simplicity tunic a size larger then mine.i decided to add some move with a white heart on green cotton fabric 15 cm on both front and back piece
then for the bottom part i tried to replicate the skirt of my previous project a green leaf
the skirt is double layer, the underskirt in plain green with the end of the skirt in the green printed fabric.
i wanted to add a remind of the 50’s sundresses with their big pockets in the skirt.. so i added just one pocket on the side
i finished the upper part, collar and arms with bias binding made from the printed cotton.
a side note on the waist belt: i made it recycling a stripe from a thick cotton trousers and a white clousure from a cord belt :)
