I don’t like purple but I was shopping for fabrics with my purple-loving friend;) But now I like the coat.
Pattern: Burda Easy Fashion 2/2010, which I’ve changed a litlle. I moved fastening from center to the side, replaced zip with buttoms, removed yoke. I didn’t find fabric warm anough, so I used wadding sewn together with lining (it was terrible to work with it). I also made in seam pocket instead of welt ones.

Not like purple! That’s my daughter’s most favorite color. I cannot remember how many purple coats she has had over the years. Your purple coat is super cute, especially as it also has polka dots!! Not to mention those fabulous buttons. The coat and color were meant for you. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll grow to love the color just because of making a garment that looks just as cute as this coat.
