Description

I just want to start a flame in your heart.

I made this dress to wear to my brother’s wedding. I modified the bodice from the coffee date dress (I made up my own facing, too, which probably wasn’t the easiest way to go about that), and made my own “skirt” portion using the principles in the video I linked. I was quite insecure about it at first, but ended up being very happy with it! The pictures are thanks to apvolek (xoxo).

Material Notes

Burgandy cotton, and some sort of silky, shiny fabric that is heavier than the cotton.

Oh the fabric is gorgeous! I love the colors and the shape and that fact that it is a dress and not a skirt and blouse! So beautiful!
