My wedding dress was inspired from my two grandmothers’ wedding dresses, and making it was inspired by my grandmother who made her dress 50+ years ago. The wedding was also a bit 50’s inspired, so it fit in so well.
There was absolutely no wedding dress patterns anywhere close to what I wanted, so we revised 2 patterns, drastically. I just used the patterns to figure out the boning in the bodice and the amount of fabric needed.
